The appointment of three non-Islamic figures leading the judiciary sector in this country is 'a result of what the people want'.
The view was voiced by Umno Youth chief Datuk Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki, when contacted by Sinar Harian, today.
The former Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs) however took the approach to respecting the government's decision to appoint the three individuals.
